Back in Las Vegas and it's just HOT!

Had a better night sleep and I'm thinking it was do to lowing the thermostat down two degrees.

Now that has me feeling a bit more energetic, but also has me wondering how much more it's going to cost. The power co. got another, oh lets round it out to 10% raise in its rates.

With every lawyer and their dogs jumping on the "We handle bankruptcies" bandwagon and it seem there is just as many foreclosures as sales of homes, you think maybe something like a 4% raise in rates would be pushing it. Nope we got the 9.++% increase and that was supposed to make us feel better because it was less the the 16++% the power co. was asking for. Hello, they always ask as a standard business practice for twice as much as they need.

I think a 10% raise in my pay per year would be great also. After all my living expenses have increased also. Just check the power bill.

Hum, do I own power stock? Oh, and I like it when Pennies have 10% off sales.

So I just finished taking a shower and was drying off and telling the dog what a refreshing lift it gave me. Just then the smoke detector went off. Just didn't realize how loud it would be and how naked I would feel with just a towel between me and sure doom.

Must have been cat fart, cuss I never did find anything that should have triggered the smoke detector.

My sister has a long weekend, so guess who will be taking her to the movies.

Have a great 4th of July. Keep all those digits where they belong.

Make it through another 4 of July with out losing any digits. Woot!

Things to do this week:
Finish cleaning out the Mom's room.
Get a new driver license.
Go sign the papers to get the house transfered into my sister and mine names.
Figure out what to do with Mom's car.
Call the insurance co. and take care of transferring the house and cars billing.
Deal with Social Security.
Maybe get a hair cut.
Play with the dog.


10th

I'm signing the house papers today. Cant do the car until after the 25th. Didn't get the hair cut, but did play with the dog.

The sister is coming over tomorrow to sort through the mom's bobbles an beads. What she doesn't take is going into a box for future lets play dress up with the kids of close friends and to be used as props.

I've grown weary of taking care of this stuff and am having a hard time making myself take care of all that needs to be done. So will be glad when all is taken care of an I can move on.

The mom's room has been cleaned and the carpet shampooed. Just waiting on the sister to take what she wants before I move into the larger room. I've started moving my winter clothing into the walk in closet, though progress is slow.

I'll be glad to get out of this funk that's been flowing me around for the last few weeks. I suppose it's natural after the one two emotional punch. So I'll just wait it out, cuss something will come along and snap me out of it. Soon I hope, it is a pain.
